Endocrine Pathology
Physicians Laboratory's board-certified pathologists, including a fellowship trained Endocrine, Head and Neck pathologist, provide comprehensive diagnostic expertise and services relating to the pathology of disorders of endocrine glands including thyroid, parathyroids, and adrenals. In addition to evaluation by fine needle aspiration and conventional histology, a variety of specialized immunohistochemical tests are routinely available. Complex cases are presented at an interdisciplinary tumor board which includes radiologists, surgeons, endocrinologists and oncologists. Our pathologists are accessible for consultation on routine and complex cases.
