Hematopathology
Physicians Laboratory's board-certified fellowship-trained hematopathologists provide the highest level of service. We offer evaluation of surgical and cytology specimens as well as bone marrow biopsy diagnosis. Comprehensive intregrated reporting includes: Correlation with laboratory data, immunophenotyping and additional ancillary studies (such as cytogenetics, FISH, molecular and next generation sequencing). In-house flow cytometry expedites turn-around time of hematologic specimen evaluation. We are also glad to provide hematopathologist-reported review of peripheral blood smears. Our pathologists are available to assist you with questions and to extend personal consultation with complex cases.
