Laboratory Director Services
Physicians Laboratory has staff pathologists who meet CLIA requirements and act as directors of highly or moderately complex laboratories. Pathologists maintain close working relationships with client laboratory supervisors and staff. A staff pathologist is always available for clinical consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our pathologists visit client laboratories on a regular rotation, providing guidance in the following areas:
- Clinical Patient Consultation
- Transfusion Review
- Test and Method Selection
- Quality Control and Proficiency Testing
- Clinical Pathology Consultation
- Medical Staff Quality Improvement
- Continuing Education
